Year 2009

I was checking my drafts, and then I found this post. I thought it would be nice if I would publish this. (..shucks! the effort..^___^)

It's been a long break since my last post.

The year of the rat has ended and we now welcome the year of the Ox. (Actually, I am not familiar with those animals representing years and such.) But I think last year was just nothing. It was just like any other year. Nothing really interesting or striking happened. Well, let me just enumerate some things I can remember from day 1 of the year 2008.

Day 1: Normal. I welcomed the new year with fireworks and food.

Day 2: I can't remember. So on..

January:

- I was one of the Sinulog Mardigra dancers. The parade was tiring but still fun, and a nice experience.

February:

- Hmm.. I received a match doll from Gabby during Valentines. Thanks Gab!

- Crazy Day & Oblation Run. We had water fight.

March:

- Debbie’s debut: We smashed an egg on Debbie’s head after the pray over. Lalala.. We surprised her with a video presentation of our greetings.

Summer Vacation:

- I enjoyed it. It was like a reunion. Some of our relatives from somewhere in Luzon also spent their summer in Negros.

June:

- We prepared a little birthday surprise for Gab. I can still remember that day. It was raining and they put a lot of icing on my face. xp

- We (most of the Bordz) watched the movie “Wanted”, thanks to Lopez. The movie was great, but I think it was more fun spoiling some scenes to the people waiting to the watch the movie, especially the part when Jolie died. Haha!

July:

- We attended a fun and MASKARAZY Party of the YFC.

August:

- Cook-Out! We made a Filipiniana dress out of rice sacks. The theme was “Oh my Gas, Bigas!”. You know at that time, the Philippines was facing some rice shortage.

- Birthday Surprise! Hmmm.. Bordz gave me a cartolina-sized card where they wrote their greetings. Icing war!

September:

- Jen’s debut: We bought 18 roses (but I think 19) for her debut. The guys surprised her at the basketball court.

- Kaec’s debut: It was supposed to be a surprise, but Kaec sensed the plan. Still, I think she was happy, so she invited us to eat with them at Bigby’s. Wee..

- Intrams: hmm.. The Torrents cheer dancers transformed into big dancing eggplants. xp
- First ever Execom Retreat! (I'm not sure of the month actually, but I think I should put it here.)

October:

- Received unsatisfactory grades from teachers. Bad semester!

November:

- YFC team building

- Ruffy's birthday! Yummy pizza and lunch.

December:

- We got accepted in YMA..

- Gabby won Ms. UP Cebu 200.. Congratz Gab!

- Otaku Fest 2.0 (I can't remember the first Otaku fest but I'm sure it was the same year)
